Fight for our future.

Even when AI first hit the scene, I was not only skeptical, but scared too. All you gotta do is upload photos of yourself, or tell the software information about you, or tell it what to think for you… so easy & fun… only if you don’t dig any deeper. But I can’t help myself, I’m curious & I give a shit, & all roads lead back to AI being incredibly harmful & destructive to both the physical world & our mental worlds too.

Everyday I seem to encounter someone that’s excited they have some AI tool to use, while I’m over here screaming for it to stop. The blissful ignorance of the ways in which they’re contributing all on their owns. My heart hurts. Everyday more apps & platforms are being integrated with AI against our wills, & as a photographer that can have my photos stolen or my client’s identities stolen with AI, I do not fucking consent! It’s unavoidable at so many turns these days, that I end up engaging in it kicking & screaming. I don’t know what to do to avoid it when it’s THIS integrated at this point. But that doesn’t mean I don’t fight…

I hear that it’s so integrated into everything we do that I might as well just accept it, but there’s no way that my soul can rest by doing that. That’s how much I will die on this hill. Maybe it’s a “tool” now, but what will be next? & what corrupt entities are being supported by using these tools? it’s a super slippery slope that it seems like just doesn’t even matter to way too many people that it’s driving me mad. I feel incredibly disappointed looking around & witnessing it unfolding so nonchalantly.

It’s like we’re collectively so exhausted from everything else atrocious occurring in our worlds right now, that we just don’t even care anymore. We don’t care because the screen removes us from our humanity, and we are signing the permission slip…

BUT WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Like we need to do something about so many other evils our world is cohabitating with right now…

All I’m saying is, it’s not fucking worth it & do what you can to resist. Don’t give up the fight, even when it’s something that might SEEM little on the outside, consider how vastly deep those ripples are generating out into the world & consider if you are willing to be an active participant or if you’re going to do something to stop it…

Do what you can to intentionally avoid AI wherever possible. Some ways it’s unavoidable right now… but we have to keep trying, we can’t just give in to it. This will affect generations & I’m not willing to have that on my conscious. I want to go down in history as someone that fought for shit… & did what I could to go to my grave satisfied with the life I led & what I did for society to BENEFIT & PROGRESS it… one stupid little uncanny valley video at a time. It all matters. Please take it more seriously.

What I’m Saving for at the Moment…

is a mobile boudoir studio trailer, and this photo on the left is my dream board so you can see the vision with me! It has been on my mind for a while now that I’ve felt really limited in my craft due to being studio-less (I honestly can’t financially swing it rn-who can!?)

But so stay with me!… The concept:

a mobile boudoir studio that can go on location for events such as bridal showers or retreats where boudoir shoots could take place inside the trailer, but clients also have the option to be out in nature if that’s their vibe too! The environment and trailer both at their fingertips, the image options are endlesssss eeeeee. Just talking about it gets me so stokeddd.

All this to say…

If you see me hustling my booty off… Just know what my heart is set on, and how much I appreciate ANY means of support on this mission. Social media engagement, direct purchasing/donating, business-related gifts, friend time to get much-needed breaks!…. It all adds up!
